As you probably already know, I love the jargon. I’ve read every story in its archives. I believe their strongest writer in the course of the last few years has been Spencer Dew, who probably wasn’t even considering ever putting together the collection Songs of Insurgency back when he started submitting his brilliance to the jargon. I myself have had two pieces published there, one fiction and the other poetry, and now my third acceptance has come through, a piece I originally called “The Absolute Truth of Death and Taxes.” It will appear sometime within the next month or so as “Several Moments of Death and Taxes.” I leave it to the biographers to audit the reasons behind the title change, as usual and of course.
There are not many magazines out there that give new writers a start like the Jargon has the (growing) power to do, and so I’d much appreciate your checking them out as soon as possible. If you have any success with them or decide to purchase some of their limited wares, be sure to tell them Madore sent you. DiGangi knows me well enough–see here.
